Hi everyone! Welcome, welcome, welcome to Aiea Elementary School's website. Aiea is such a special place where our children's "Dreams Begin". We believe that our children here are very special---they enter kindergarten with inquisitive minds and leave with a bank of knowledge and dreams for the future!
Our staff is hard working and always find ways for our children to learn and grow. Yes, we do believe in increasing student achievement and developing the whole child. This is why we have standards based learning in math and reading, but, we don't forget to teach the arts, music, physical education and other disciplines too.
We have three basic rules of behavior and they include: Take Care of Yourself, Take Care of Others, and Take Care of This Place. If you have time, please visit us. You are welcome---anytime. Thank you for exploring our website.

DOE Art Contest
Aiea Elementary 5th graders recently entered a statewide poster contest entitled gCelebrating Hawaii with My Family and Friends. The Twelve winning posters were submitted for consideration. Of those twelve submissions, two winners were chosen from Aiea: Ivonna Rakin (5-Sumida) and Jadelynn Akamu (5-Hong)! Ivonna and Jadelynn will be treated to a reception at the Hawaii Convention Center on Sunday, May 3rd, and their posters will be on display at the Convention Center for one full year!
