Manoa Elementary School
Manoa Elementary School is situated in the beautiful, majestic and historic Manoa valley. The lush school campus reflects the serenity and ambience of the environment. The geographic location is a highly desirable residential area with many families establishing strong roots and cultural identity. The children of families often return to Manoa to continue their family heritage.
Student performance on the Hawaii State Assessment, a standardized assessment for the State of Hawaii, has been in "good standing, unconditional." Approximately 80% of the students have met or exceeded benchmarks in reading, while approximately 60% of the students have met or exceeded benchmarks in math. These percentages have exceeded the average State of Hawaii benchmarks. Thus, Manoa Elementary students have been doing very well on their Hawaii State Assessments.
Parents and community members are an integral part of Manoa School, lending tremendous support and resources to further assist our teachers and students. We have an active APT (Association of Parents and Teachers) and SCC (School Community Council). The outpouring generosity is truly outstanding and well appreciated.
