Sixth Grade News
Aloha from the 6th grade!
This year our 5th and 6th graders will once again be participating in a performing arts workshop from November 23-December 15th. Each class will be scheduled for 10 days of singing, dancing and acting with a performance in the cafeteria on the last day. Parents are welcome to attend!
Our math unit on geometry will come to an end in mid December. Our second quarter test will be given during the second week of the month. We will begin our third quarter in January with a unit on fractions, decimals and percentages.
There are two reminders for all 6th graders. First, history day projects are due on December 7th. Second, Science Fair is scheduled for January 13 and 14th. It will be held in the library during school hours. Students are preparing poster boards highlighting their discoveries. All parents are invited to stop by and check out the display.
Good Luck! 6th grade teachers
