A national comprehensive reform model, America's Choice for School Design was selected to help every teacher help every student experience school success by enabling every youngster to recognize and produce quality performance and quality products as a result of the learning that occurs in every classroom. Along with the America's Choice for School Design model Hilo Union School has adapted and implemented the Connected Math Program, Investigation Math Program, and Full Options Science Systems (FOSS). Hilo Union invests time on assessing students for effective and productive learning outcomes.
