Nestled along the scenic Hamakua Coast, Honoka'a Elementary School is home to approximately 345 students in kindergarten through grade six. Honoka'a Elementary School has many programs to meet the unique needs of our students such as the Success for All (SFA) reading program, including KinderCorner, an SFA program that provides a language rich, literacy-filled day for our kindergarteners, a gifted and talented enrichment program, English for Second Language Learners, Special Education, Schoolwide Title I, reading and math remediation programs, the Primary School Adjustment Program (PSAP), school counseling services, reading tutoring, and the North Hawaii Community Learning Center-a 21st Century Grant program that provides after-school and summer programs for students. Success for All reading (K-6), Math Trailblazers (K-5), Connected Math (Grade 6) and FOSS Science (K-6) provide with a rigorous standards-based education across the curriculum.
