Kaimiloa Elementary School

Kaimiloa Elementary School, located in Ewa Beach opened its doors to the community in 1972. Situated in a rural community, the school has an enrollment of just under 700 students and services Grades K- 6 students.

As an America's Choice school, Kaimiloa is committed to a program that includes high quality professional development and technical assistance for teachers to be able to teach using best practices based on research. The Small Learning Community concept has been implemented and the school is personalizing learning for all students by grouping students and teachers into two Houses.

Kaimiloa provides opportunities for students to participate in a variety of extra-curricular events that take place at the end of the school day. Hula, Creative Dance, Yearbook, Track, Basketball and Video Classes are offered during after school Cougar Academies. As a 21st Century Grant recipient, after school tutoring is provided for students needing assistance in reading and math. Strong academic emphasis during the school day and a variety of extra-curricular activities held after school is a priority at Kaimiloa.
